today i went to the National Library at Aljunied
and i'm glad to say, I HAVE FINALLY PAID OFF ALL MY FINES and can officially borrow books again!
i found the book "Anna and the King" and borrowed it and i'm halfway through it right now..

but to do it, i had to walk from the library all the way to Aljunied MRT to top-up my EZ-link card, so that i could pay off my fines (there wasn't enough moolah in the card to pay off my MOUNTAIN HIGH worth of debts..)
on my way back to the library, i met Yiting and Pearlene
and pearlene went: "uh, why is she going that way? where did she come from?"
LOL, like i just popped out of the ground and suddenly decided to defy all forces and walk against the flow of people heading towards the MRT Station.

and at last, i paid of my fines and managed to borrow the book
it sure was a tiring walk!
not to mention that i had to walk BACK to the MRT Station AGAIN to go home.
